Australian man held over alleged Bali air rage incident on AirAsia flight from Sydney

AN AUSTRALIAN man is being questioned in Bali today after being detained for allegedly being "œunruly" and using abusive language on a flight from Sydney to Denpasar.


Aaron Gerrard Dolden, believed to be from Sydney, faces up to two years in jail and a maximum $50,000 fine, under Indonesia's aviation laws.


The 25-year-old was detained soon after his Air Asia flight landed at Denpasar airport on Thursday afternoon and he has been in Immigration detention overnight, pending further investigations today.


Air Asia security was waiting when the flight landed after the pilot radioed ahead to report an unruly passenger.
