Aberdeen Airport passengers delayed amid 'operational issue'

A number of flights at Aberdeen Airport were delayed after an "operational issue" meant passengers had to vacate the airside part of the terminal and be re-screened by security.


The issue emerged at about 10am but has now been resolved, an airport spokesman confirmed.


It is understood around 300 people were in the terminal at the time, although it is not clear exactly how many people were affected by the "short delays" to flights.
