Kendari Wolter Monginsidi Airport information
Wolter Monginsidi Airport (KDI) is an airport in Kendari, South East Sulawesi, Indonesia. The airport is named after Robert Wolter Monginsidi, an Indonesian national hero who was executed by the Dutch during Indonesian National Revolution.
Transport to and from Kendari to the airport
The local government has establish three zones for taxi fares from or to the airport Hassanudin depending on your destination:
- Zone 1 is charged at around Rp.65.000, for rides close to the airport till the Tello bridge.
- Zone 2 charged at around Rp.87.000, for desinations north of the city, ie: Tello, Antang, Sentral, Pelabuhan, and Losari beach.
- Zone 3 has a tarif of around Rp. 100,000, for destinations south of the city, namely: Bajidakka, Malengkeri, Parangtambung.
