FlyFirefly Sdn Bhd, operating as Firefly, is a full service point to point carrier and a full subsidiary of Malaysia Airlines. Its head office is located on the grounds of Sultan Abdul Aziz Shah Airport in Subang, Selangor. It claims to be the first community airline in Malaysia.

Firefly operates from two hubs - Sultan Abdul Aziz Shah Airport, Subang, Selangor and Penang International Airport. The airline's first flight was on April 3, 2007 from Penang to Kota Bharu.

Baggage allowance

Normally the ticket price does not include any checked baggage. You are allowed to bring one cabin bagage with a weight of 7kg in the aircraft.

Passengers who fly on the Boeing 737 aircraft have the option of choosing to add on the price of in-flight meals, merchandise, checked-baggage fees or more to the cost of the ticket, allowing you to decide on how much you should pay.
